The Pekin Marigold Festival in September is one of our most well-known annual fundraisers.  Each year, FBCS runs a food booth in the Pekin Park selling funnel cakes, elephant ears, lemon shake ups, and tenderloin sandwiches.  The staff, students, and parents all chip in with funds and labor to make this a successful fundraising event.  These funds enable the Booster Club to contribute to various projects throughout the year.  We're not sure what we'd do without the leadership of Brian and Karla Trueblood, the Booster Club and all the parents that make up the SOS Warriors who helped us pull everything together!

During the Marigold Festival. we also participate in the parade with our own float.  We have also been able to help conduct the Marigold church service with Grace Baptist Church in past years.  The school is represented in the Civic Collage section of the park, where we give away balloons and information.   This year's Marigold Festival took place the weekend of September 5-7, 2014.

The annual Bowl-a-Thon takes place in February and helps to raise money for the Booster Club projects. Prizes are awarded to individuals and teams for pre-set fundraising goals. A big thank you goes to our SOS Warriors group who help pull this event together.

A major fundraising event every summer is the Warrior Classic Golf Tournament. The outing is followed up with a prime rib dinner and auction that same evening. The tournament, dinner, and auction help to raise funds for tuition scholarships to FBCS for qualifying families. Next year's Warrior Golf Classic is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2015.  Call the school office for more information if you
or your company would be interested in sponsoring this event!  If you would like to participate in the golf outing as a player, you can
upload a brochure here.  Just turn in the brochure with your information to the school office and shine up those clubs!
