Our Philosophy
• As parents, that is a question we will all ask ourselves, not only before they are born, but multiple times throughout their childhood. We all want our children to grow up and honor God, while serving their fellow man as mature followers of Jesus Christ. We desire for them to become successful in all that they do.
• Proverbs 22:6 tells us to "Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it." But how do we do this in a world that is adrift with the influences of secularism? Where do we look for help? It reassuring to know that the Bible still provides the instruction and wisdom necessary for steering us, and our children, through the challenges of life. The unchanging, unfailing Word of God will stand in this changing culture. God promises that to us.

Our Mission There is help for the Christian parent today. An educational institution founded over 25 years ago, Faith Baptist Christian School believes the Bible is the only sure answer to life's challenges. It is committed to supporting Christian parents and the local church in the training of their children. The school equips students not only with the academic and social skills needed for life, but also with the spiritual and moral skills needed to grow "in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man." (Luke 2:52) Faith Baptist Christian School has a rich heritage of providing quality Christian education for families in Pekin, Peoria and the tri-county area that began in 1975. Faith Baptist Church of Pekin founded and still governs the school through an elected school board. Our History
• As parents, we certainly have options in how and where our children will be educated... public school, private school, home school, or Christian school. Selecting from these options is one of the most important decisions you will ever make as a parent. The Apostle Paul warns us in I Cor. 3:10 to be careful in how we build because the long-term consequences for good or grief are immense.
• For over 25 years Faith Baptist Christian School has partnered with parents in the Pekin and surrounding areas to lay the foundation for a God-centered life. We believe the foundation, if laid correctly, will not collapse under life's pressures and storms, but rather be strong enough to support a God-glorifying life.
