DETAILED FINANCIAL INFORMATION
School year 2025-26
Preschool student entrance fee = $150+ monthly tuition. NO ADDITIONAL FEES!
TUITION
5 Day Preschool (P3 or P4) – Half Day $350.00 per month
5 Day Preschool (P3 or P4) – Full Day $500.00 per month
3 Day Preschool (P3 or P4) - Half Day $275.00 per month
3 Day Preschool (P3 or P4) - Full Day $350.00 per month
Elementary (Grades K5 - 6th) $500.00 per month
Secondary (Grades 7th - 12th) $550.00 per month
Families will make 10 equal monthly tuition payments - August through May. Fees & books should be paid during the summer months of June and July.
Families who pay their entire fall semester (Sept-Dec) tuition in September will receive a 5% discount on their semester tuition charge. Families who pay their entire spring semester (Jan-May) tuition in January will receive a 5% discount on their tuition charge.
Monthly payments are due at the beginning of each month. A $25.00 late fee will be added to the unpaid bill on the 16th of the month. Returned checks will be assessed a $25.00 fee. Special financial schedules and plans may be arranged with the approval of the administration.
DISCOUNTS
TUITION DISCOUNTS: Discounts are not to be stacked. Families must choose the best option for their family from the three choices listed below. Discounts do not apply to half day students.
Multiple Students: Tuition is discounted for each additional child from the same family. This does not apply to half day students. Each student is required to pay the appropriate fees.
2 students - 10% family tuition discount
3 students - 15% family tuition discount
4+ students - 20% family tuition discount
Ministerial Families: Pastors of local churches receive a 20% tuition discount for their children. This does not apply to half day students. All fees are required.
Faith Baptist Church Active Members: FBC members, through their volunteer participation and financial support, contribute greatly to the ministry of FBCS. Faithful members in good standing of the Faith Baptist Church of Pekin will qualify for a 20% discount on their tuition bill. Families are responsible for fees.
FEES
APPLICATION/REGISTRATION FEE: $150.00 (Non-Refundable)
This is for new students only. It enables us to cover the expenses of testing, assessment, securing transcripts, and the other paperwork associated with enrollment.
RETURNING ENROLLMENT FEE: $25.00 (Non-Refundable)
This is for all current students planning to return for another year. This assists us with schedule planning and textbook purchasing. This fee increases to $50 on May 25 and to $75.00 on June 15.
TEXTBOOK FEE: $250.00 (Refundable until July 1)
This fee is the same for every student and is the same as last year. This covers student texts, as well as teacher’s editions and supplemental classroom helps. The textbook publishers give us a discount on early orders. We pass this along to you. On July 1, the fee will increase to $300.00.
ACTIVITY FEE:
This fee covers state fine arts and athletic competition registrations, admission to all home sporting events, insurance, transportation for field trips, some art supplies and a yearbook. Achievement testing and fine arts classes are included for the elementary. The secondary student’s fee also includes their overnight spiritual retreat, program & competition music and use of the various labs.
K5 – 6th grade: $150.00
7th – 12th grade: $200.00
All activity fees are due before the beginning of school. This amount is the same as last year and does not cover all of the expenses of the special programs we provide.
GRADUATION FEES:
Graduation fees are charged to students in K5 and 12th Grade.
Because of the varying cost of graduation materials and the trend toward personalizing graduation items, these charges will fluctuate based on family and personal choices. Graduation materials will be selected during the first semester and these fees will be added to the February school bill.
OTHER FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS
ENROLLMENT DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR: Registration, activity, and book fees along with the first month's tuition are due before the student can attend classes. Tuition charges and activity fees may be prorated based on the date of enrollment.
FINANCIAL OBLIGATION: Parents are required to read and sign the Financial Agreement form before their student can attend class.
This document declares that the family assumes financial responsibilities for the entire semester of each semester the student is enrolled even though attendance may be limited. Appeals may be made to the administration for special family situations.
REFUNDS: Students who are registered but withdrawn before July 1 will have their entire book fees refunded. Students withdrawn before the start of school may have 50% of their book fees refunded. Special consideration may be applied if a student is withdrawn during the first week of school. The registration fee is nonrefundable.
