Fine Arts

Fine Arts is another part of the well-rounded education we provide at FBCS. We believe that God gives talents to all and that each person is responsible to develop those talents for His glory and service to others. The creative abilities God gives in the fine arts are one of the ways we are made in the image of the God. Our goal is to help foster in our students a desire to use their talents to showcase Christ, not just here at FBCS, but for a lifetime of service.

• Students have many opportunities to display their progress

  • Through Class Projects

  • In Chapel

  • At Community Events

  • Concerts throughout the school year

• Beginning at the upper elementary level, students also have the opportunity to have their talents adjudicated

  • In the annual Illinois Association of Christian Schools’ (IACS) Fine Arts, Academic, Tournaments which are divided by grade level.

  • On the Senior High Level, state champions have the opportunity to go on to the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS) national competition.
