Early Childhood Music and Movement

  • Early Childhood Music and Movement Classes prepare children for a musical world. Using a variety of methods, such as aural singing techniques and activity based learning, these classes help students understand basic elements of music and provide a foundation for greater musical appreciation and learning while at the same time reinforcing basic educational concepts for growing toddler-aged children, such as numbers, letters, colors, gross and fine motor skills, etc.

  • Early Childhood Music and Movement Classes meet for eight weeks and are broken into two age groups.

    • Infant-3 yrs. — Wednesdays at 9:00 A.M.

    • 3-5 yrs. — Tuesdays at 3:30 P.M.

*Note: 3-year-olds can enroll in either class.

    • Parents of students in the infant-3 yrs. class are required to attend class with their student and accompany them during all activities.
